Main purpose of the treatment: In case you are a candidate to become an employee of PROSEGUR, your data will be processed in order to carry out the corresponding selection processes. Legitimisation basis: The data collected will be processed on the basis of law 19.628 on the protection of privacy, hereinafter "the law" and the authorization granted by you to Prosegur for its specific processing, based on the provisions of article 4 of the respective law. 1.1 Information of the Data Controller
This document regulates the privacy policy of the PROSEGUR website (hereinafter, the "Website").
PROSEGUR is part of an international Group dedicated to the private security activity. In the development of its activity, there are three (3) business lines: Prosegur Cash, Prosegur Security and Prosegur Alarms. For your information, the data of the company that collects personal data are listed below:

1.2 Scope
This Privacy Policy regulates the processing of personal data carried out by PROSEGUR in relation to the candidates of the respective selection process who access or contact PROSEGUR through the Website. The above would cover the processing of data of candidates to become future employees who submit personal information through the PROSEGUR Website. Therefore, this privacy policy reflects the information regarding the processing with respect to the category of data subjects indicated.
2. Purposes and Legitimisation
You hereby expressly authorize PROSEGUR to process your personal data for the purposes described herein, which will be processed in accordance with current legislation.
Likewise, you are hereby informed that all data that PROSEGUR requests or may request from you are necessary for the purposes described in this privacy policy and failure to provide them would make it impossible to contact you, remain in the respective selection process or manage any type of request you make to PROSEGUR for the aforementioned purpose. Likewise, PROSEGUR reserves the right not to answer or process requests that do not include the data requested in the selection process.
You hereby guarantee the truthfulness and accuracy of the personal data provided to PROSEGUR. PROSEGUR may periodically request you to review and update your personal data that have not been previously submitted, in order to update them.
Through this Website, you can contact PROSEGUR in case you wish to submit your resume to participate in the selection processes that may eventually be carried out to join the company as an employee.
For these purposes, PROSEGUR will request and, therefore, will process the necessary data to manage your possible participation in selection processes, as well as to keep you informed of possible selection processes that may exist in the future.
Below is a description of the purposes for which your personal data will be processed and the basis on which it will be processed:
i. Review of personal, professional and academic background and referral of data collected in the eventual employment contract between you and PROSEGUR:
a. Manage the personnel selection process of the different companies of the PROSEGUR Group, which will include the review of CVs and conducting personal interviews if the profile of the position fits.
b. Formalize the labor contractual relationship with PROSEGUR, which will include the hiring process and signing of the respective labor contract, individual and/or collective.
ii. Legitimation by express consent:
a. Send communications related to future job vacancies or selection processes of the PROSEGUR Group.
b. Perform analyses based on your personal data, with the sole purpose of improving the productivity of PROSEGUR Group companies.
c. Collect and use your personal data from employment websites and social networks in order to perform an analysis to determine if your profile fits in any of the current processes being carried out by PROSEGUR.
iii. Legitimation by legitimate interests of PROSEGUR:
a. To send communications to candidates who have participated in a selection process of any of the entities to which the PROSEGUR Group belongs, related to selection processes for other PROSEGUR Group vacancies, which fit the candidate's professional profile and are in line with the Group's interests.
b. Retain your personal data for a period of five years. PROSEGUR's legitimate interest is to protect the security and integrity of PROSEGUR and its employees.
3. Recipients
The personal data you provide to PROSEGUR may be communicated to the following recipients:
- Companies within the PROSEGUR Group with the purpose of managing the selection process as a consequence of selection, administrative or IT processes existing within the PROSEGUR Group.
- Third parties with which PROSEGUR has signed agreements with the purpose of collaborating in the recruitment and selection of personnel.
- Public Entities to which PROSEGUR is obliged to transmit the information collected, such as the Financial Analysis Unit, the Public Ministry or Courts of Justice in order to comply with the requirements of such public institutions, always respecting the rights of the owners contained in the law.
4. Data Retention
The criteria that PROSEGUR uses to set the terms for the conservation of its data have been determined in accordance with the term indicated in article 18 of the law and the operational requirements of PROSEGUR related to the correct management of the data of the candidates that are presented in the different selection processes.
Your data will not be kept for a period of more than 5 years from the date of delivery or, if applicable, from the end of the selection process to which you have applied.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, in those cases in which a situation has arisen that could result in liability on its part, for security reasons, PROSEGUR may store the data necessary for its identification for an additional period of time in case the courts of justice require the information due to pending lawsuits, thus complying with the last paragraph of article 18 of the law.
Likewise, in the event that there is a judicial process or an ongoing investigation against you, your data may be retained for the additional time necessary until a final and enforceable judicial decision is obtained.
5. Your Data Protection Rights
You may contact PROSEGUR when you deem it necessary, being able to exercise your rights of revocation of authorization as stated in article 4 of the law, by means of a request addressed to Karen Aguayo or Daniella Araneda, at Los Gobelinos 2567, Renca, or to the following e-mail addresses: Karen.aguayo@prosegur.com and Daniella.Araneda@prosegur.com.
6. Data Security
PROSEGUR has appropriate policies and technical and organizational measures in place to safeguard and protect your personal data against illegal or unauthorized access, accidental loss or destruction, damage, illegal or unauthorized use and disclosure. Notwithstanding the foregoing, it is expressly stated that PROSEGUR cannot guarantee the security of personal data transmitted through our Website.
