Prosegur Security deploys over 3,700 professionals across 370 matches in 15 spanish football stadiums
With nearly 35,000 employees in Spain, the company has delivered security services in key cities including Madrid, Seville, Valencia, Bilbao, and Vigo, ensuring comprehensive protection across 15 First and Second Division stadiums.
Madrid, 11 July 2025 – Prosegur Security, a leader in the private security sector, deployed over 3,700 professionals to support security operations during the 2024–2025 professional football season in Spain. The company provided tailored security solutions aligned with the specific needs of each stadium, covering more than 370 matches across 15 major La Liga and Second Division venues in cities such as Madrid, Seville, Valencia, Bilbao, and Vigo.
With a workforce of 35,000 in Spain, Prosegur Security anchors its operations in its ‘Hybrid Security’ model, which combines the expertise of its personnel with advanced technology and intelligent data management. Each deployment during the season involved close coordination with state security forces to prevent and address potential threats associated with large-scale sporting events.

Tailored Security Operations

For every match, a three-phase operation is applied:
Pre-event: Coordination with clubs, National and Local Police, and emergency services to design operations based on the match profile.
During the event: Access control, match supervision, and implementation of evacuation procedures.
Post-event: Incident review and evaluation to identify opportunities for improvement.
Operating in 14 countries across five continents, Prosegur Security employs over 110,000 professionals worldwide. In Spain, beyond league matches, the company has secured the last three Copa del Rey finals, the 2022 and 2025 Europa League finals, Euro 2020 matches in Seville, the 2024 Women’s Nations League final, the 2024 Davis Cup finals, and the Mutua Madrid Open for five consecutive years.
