Prosegur deploys 2,500 security professionals for spanish teams at home games in european competitions
For more than 25 years, the company has been guaranteeing the security of key La Liga stadiums, the last three Copa del Rey finals, the 2022 and 2025 Europa League finals, Euro 2020 matches in Seville, as well as the 2024 Nations League women's final, among other major events.

Madrid, 24 September 2025.- Prosegur Security, a global leader in private security services, will deploy more than 2,500 security professionals to protect Spanish football teams competing in European tournaments during the 2025-2026 season. The company will provide comprehensive security services at stadiums in Madrid, Seville, Bilbao, Vila-real, and Vigo, continuing its 25-year legacy of safeguarding Spain's most important sporting venues.
Drawing on its workforce of approximately 35,000 employees across Spain, Prosegur Security operates under its innovative "Hybrid Security" model, which combines human expertise with advanced technology and intelligent data management. The security deployment will cover 18 matches through the end of the first phase in December. Prosegur's teams will work in close coordination with Spain's State Security Forces to identify and mitigate potential threats associated with large-scale sporting events.
