Prosegur Foundation delivers 89 scholarships in Singapore

Singapore, 16 January 2016.–The Prosegur Foundation has awarded 89 scholarships to children of employees in Singapore in the framework of its Talent Scholarships programme. This initiative is part of the foundation's commitment to education as the driving force behind development in our society.  

This wide reaching international project was conceived in 2008 and has been gaining ground worldwide, adapting its modalities (scholars, university students or professional training) to the specific needs of each country. In Singapore, these aids have been awarded since 2011. In the current academic year, scholarships were awarded to 29 primary school students, 32 secondary school students, 16 higher learning students and, lastly, 12 university students. 

Prosegur currently has operations in Singapore under the Prosec and Evtec brands, which have 1,613 employees. Moreover, and seeking to further the talent of our upcoming generations, this pledge to excellence and personal effort has already had a positive impact on over 6,000 students in 9 countries on 3 continents according to data at the end of 2015.
