Prosegur Secures Rock in Rio Lisbon with Yellow, the Security Robot

Rock in Rio is the first music event for Yellow, the Security Robot

     Prosegur has extensive experience securing large-scale, complex events. We have been Rock in Rio’s security partner since 2006. This year we will be bringing Yellow, our intelligent robot dog, to Rock in Rio Lisbon.

Our objective: increase security 

Prosegur is committed to innovation. Rock in Rio Lisbon is being held on the 18th, 19th, 25th, and 26th of June at Parque de Belavista.  

Prosegur’s security complement includes more than 400 security professionals, one of the largest teams ever assembled. The team will be responsible for access control of the enclosure, protection of the parking lot, backstage, and stage access. As always, we will be using the latest in security technology. 

Yellow

The hero of this advanced security service is Yellow, our robot dog enhanced with artificial intelligence. Yellow is connected to our GenzAI platform which oversees the security program.

5G technology

 

We use 5G technology to communicate any risk situation to our Security Operations Center (iSOC).

Video analytics

Thanks to artificial intelligence, Yellow can detect suspicious items and events and alert the monitoring agents at our Security Operations Center.

Sensor

 

Yellow uses a wide variety of sensors that collect data from its environment, from temperature (fire detection) to gases, and other types of risk that could impact security at the event. 

Communication

Yellow will communicate with the human security team in the SOC in real-time. Yellow will detect and inform of any detected risks or threats. This helps with the accuracy and the speed of our response. 

Yellow at Rock in Rio Lisbon

Yellow will be programmed to patrol the event, both autonomously and through patrols controlled by Prosegur’s team. If an incident is detected, Yellow will send alerts through our iSOC.
