Prosegur receives the “Award for Best Practices in Internal Communication as part of its CSR”
The company competed with more than 100 candidates to obtain this recognition for its communication of the “Piecitos Colorados” cooperative development project.
Through its foundation, Prosegur received the “Award for Best Practices in Internal Communication as part of its CSR” today at an official ceremony held at Hotel Hesperia in Madrid. The Director of the Prosegur Foundation, Mercedes Borbolla, accepted this award for the "Piecitos Colorados" cooperative development project, the objective of which is to improve the comprehensive education and quality of life of boys and girls who live in impoverished areas of Latin America where Prosegur is present.
The award acknowledges the use of internal communication as a tool to spread awareness and get the more than 120,000 employees who work at the company involved in this charity initiative. To date, the programme includes 31 schools in various intervention phases in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay. With the help of employees, the project has become a driver of progress and has benefitted more than 3,517 minors. For 2014, the Prosegur Foundation aims to directly reach nearly 8,000 children.
