Prosegur to present its internationalisation strategy at the MEDCAP Forum
The event brings together the leading Spanish small and mid cap companies, as well as Spanish and international investors
Madrid, 27th May 2014. – Prosegur is currently taking part in the Tenth Edition of the MEDCAP Forum for Small and Mid Cap Companies, hosted by the Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME). The Spanish Secretary of State for Trade, Jaime García-Legaz, and the Chairman of BME, Antonio Zoido, will open the event, set to begin today at the Madrid Stock Exchange.
During this first day of meetings, Prosegur will unveil its international growth strategy to investors from all over the world. In the last year, in line with its inorganic growth policy, the Company has strengthened its presence in the German market and has started to offers its services in Australia, by acquiring the second-largest local CIT operator. Including this new market, the Company is now present in 17 countries across 4 continents.
The MEDCAP Forum is aimed at boosting these companies' funding capacity in the stock market. Accordingly, the event includes a series of sector-specific panels and round tables for debate on matters of general interest for companies, such as innovation, internationalisation strategies or competitive advantages of Spanish companies abroad.
The meeting is set to bring together the leading small and mid cap companies in the Spanish market, as well as institutional investors, brokers and analysts, both from Spain and abroad. A number of representatives of Spanish public administrations will also be present at the event.
