Prosegur obtains the European Certification for aviation security services
This European standard confirms the quality of service of private security companies that operate in airports.
Prosegur has obtained the European Certification for standard UNE-EN 16082 for aviation security services. Around 1000 professionals in the company have been audited to prove the adequate professional training of Prosegur employees responsible for airport security. Their tasks include passenger and hand luggage control, safety in shipment and aircraft hold and access control among others.
These accreditations guarantee that our recruiting, training and hiring policies for airport personnel comply with the European quality standards, besides confirming an adequate structure and proceeding to respond to the needs of airport managers.
At present, Prosegur provides security services in three of the four main Spanish airports: Barcelona, Palma of Mallorca and Malaga, besides operating in the airport of San Sebastian and in the heliport of Ceuta. In addition, the Company forms part of the Board of Directors of the ASSA-International Association (Aviation Security Services Association) and has an active participation in process optimization within the security services industry regarding needs in air transportation.
