Prosegur reinforces its technology area with the acquisition of Tellex in Argentina

Prosegur has acquired Argentina Tellex S.A., a company dedicated to Electronic Security Systems and Fire Protection and the sale and maintenance of ATMs. Tellex has a strong customer base which is served by its workforce of more than 180 employees.

With this new acquisition, Prosegur confirms its strategic commitment to the area of Technology - Electronic Security and Fire Protection - which began in 2005 in Spain, and consolidates its leadership in the Argentine market where it provides services in all areas of Corporate Security and Residential Security.

With a clear vocation for leadership and a combination of organic and inorganic growth, Prosegur continues to advance its goal of developing all types of security services in every country in Europe and Latin America where it is present. In the first half of 2010 the Company acquired Genper in the area of technology in Uruguay.
