Prosegur restructures leadership team to accelerate growth in alarm business

Madrid, September 10, 2025 – Prosegur, a global leader in the private security sector, has appointed Jaime Ron Alpañes as its new CEO of Prosegur Alarms. This leadership change reinforces the company’s commitment to accelerating the growth of its alarms division across the eight countries in which it operates: Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, South Africa and Uruguay. The appointment will boost Prosegur’s commercial capabilities by leveraging cutting-edge technology and helping pursue new marketing and distribution channels through strategic partnerships, all of which are key to the company's ongoing expansion strategy in the highly dynamic alarms market.


In addition to his new role, Jaime Ron will also serve as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Movistar Prosegur Alarms, the 50/50 joint venture between Prosegur and Telefónica focused on delivering alarm services in Spain.


Jaime Ron holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and an MBA from London Business School. He joined Prosegur in 2017 and has since held several senior leadership positions within the company.
