Prosegur incorporates ai to process more than 50,000 contracts managed each year across Spain, Argentina, Brazil and Portugal
This development marks a new milestone in innovative digital solutions for the IT, Legal and Purchasing departments, reinforcing Prosegur’s commitment to transforming its management model.

Madrid, August 18, 2025. – Prosegur, a global leader in security solutions, has launched an AI assistant developed in-house by its engineers to support purchasing managers in the ICT environment. LexIA leverages cutting-edge and secure technology, increasing employees’ analytical capacity fourfold, speeding up consultation of contractual terms and enabling the creation of an intelligent repository where information can be accessed quickly and accurately.
Powered by advanced AI algorithms, LexIA helps users conduct impact assessments on regulatory and business changes, evaluate contractual risks, and recommend negotiation strategies with suppliers and clients. It also enables comparisons with the company’s framework agreements and responds to both general and specific queries throughout the administrative process.
Built on natural language processing, semantic search, data structuring and strict compliance with security and regulatory standards, LexIA’s key differential is privacy: it is designed to operate in a secure environment, guaranteeing the confidentiality of all managed information.
In its first phase, LexIA is being rolled out in Spain, Argentina, Brazil and Portugal, supporting the administrative processes of more than 98,000 employees and managing some 50,000 contracts annually. In a second phase, expected in 2026, access will be extended to all 36 countries where Prosegur operates, providing services to its global workforce of over 175,000 employees.
As the tool evolves, it will integrate new functionalities. Generative AI will make it possible to perform any type of real-time analysis and query on these documents, further expanding its value.
Prosegur’s Purchasing division, which is responsible for implementing LexIA, highlights the company’s commitment to technology and AI, incorporating methodologies and solutions designed to complement employee’s work by automating repetitive tasks.

AI agents are automated systems capable of handling large volumes of data, applying machine learning and making autonomous decisions in real time. Tools like LexIA, says Torres, “interact with users and systems to simplify the analysis of complex contractual documents, identifying clauses that may benefit the business case. At the same time, LexIA optimizes processes by adapting to the diverse contexts and needs of the company.”
This initiative represents another step forward in Prosegur’s portfolio of innovative digital solutions for its Legal, Purchasing and IT departments, reinforcing the company’s commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement in the employee experience. Prosegur is among the first companies in Spain to integrate an AI assistant into its daily contract management operations.
