Prosegur Security deploys 300 professionals and advanced robotics to guarantee safety at this year’s Mutua Madrid Open

Madrid, 28 April 2026.- Prosegur Security, a global benchmark in innovative private security solutions, is once again responsible for guaranteeing the protection of the Mutua Madrid Open tennis tournament, between 20 April and 3 May at the Caja Mágica in Madrid. The business unit of the Prosegur Group, which this year celebrates its 50th anniversary, has launched a security operation for this edition made up of nearly 300 security professionals per day. They are supported by state-of-the-art technology and work in coordination with Spain’s regional and national police to ensure the safety of the more than 380,000 spectators who attend the event each year.
Security guards and coordinators are posted along the perimeter of the Caja Mágica, as well as in strategically located operational posts to guarantee comprehensive protection of the event, from the entrances, interior corridors and training areas, changing rooms, stands, track and VIP areas.

Surveillance powered by intelligent robotics
In line with its commitment to innovation, Prosegur Security has once again incorporated advanced robotics solutions into the security device of the Mutua Madrid Open, reinforcing the capabilities of its professionals through the use of state-of-the-art technology. The operation will have two robotic platforms: the quadrupedal Yellow and the humanoid Yellow Pro.
Yellow is a robust robotic platform that simulates a dog and is capable of moving with great agility in environments with a high influx of public, performing video surveillance tasks. This robot can accompany the guard during days open to the public or be teleoperated from the control center when the facilities are empty, allowing the security team to supervise the images remotely without leaving their position. In addition, it can climb stairs, a useful feature in an enclosure with different levels such as the Magic Box.
Yellow Pro is a humanoid robot with advanced motor skills. Thanks to the engineering applied to its hands, very similar to that of humans, it is capable of executing simple manual tasks such as picking up and moving small objects. It can also emit explanatory or dissuasive messages through voice commands and be teleoperated through remote control and virtual reality glasses, offering an immersive and detailed view of environments.
