Prosegur's second Empowered Women program continues driving female leadership

Madrid, 9 October 2023. Prosegur is relaunching its Empowered Women program in Spain to promote  female leadership in the private security sector. After a successful start in 2021, the initiative was expanded to Portugal and 14 Latin American countries, reflecting Prosegur's commitment to gender equality by promoting the inclusion of women in leadership positions and increasing their representation within the organization.

This year, 86 women from the company will take part in the program, attending expert-led sessions exploring issues related to the role of women in business, along with discussing strategies to forge equality.

In addition to training sessions, the program delivers continuing education in key skills to enable women to advance and develop their careers.

Announcing the latest program, María Victoria Jiménez de Pablo, Prosegur’s Global Director of Labor Relations, said: "Empowered Women was hugely welcomed by the first participants. Its impact on their careers and on our organization has encouraged us to continue working towards the objective of the project, which is to put in place practical measures and provide concrete support for female talent in our company."

Susana Brito, Head of External Communication for Iberia at Prosegur and who is joining this second edition, said, "The Empowered Women program shows Prosegur's commitment to the development of female talent, giving us the opportunity to learn and share experiences with exceptional women in the company."
