Prosegur reports 5.5% increase in consolidated net profit to €57 million

Madrid, July 31, 2026Prosegur, a global leader in innovative technological solutions for private security, reported consolidated net profit of €57 million during the first six months of 2026, up 5.5% on the same period last year. The increase was supported by an optimised tax position and discipline management of financial expenses.

The company demonstrated strong global performance, generating €2.594 billion in revenue, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%, with positive revenue growth across all operating regions. The group increased sales in Europe by 4.1%, reaching €1.030 billion; Latin America recorded growth of 4%, with revenue of €1.221 billion; and the Rest of the World region posted growth of 13.2%, reaching €343 million.

EBITDA increased to€279 million in the first half of the year, up 1.7% year-on-year.. Organic growth continued its strong performance, increasing by 7.3%, with contributions across multiple geographies and led by the United States, Iberia, Colombia, and the APAC region.

BUSINESS PERFORMANCE BY SEGMENT

Prosegur Security

During the first six months of 2026, Prosegur Security maintained strong operational performance. Revenue reached €1.400 billion, an increase of 7.5%, driven by the United States and Iberia. The United States is now the company's second-largest market by revenue, with 30% organic growth. Across all regions, the business unit achieved 9% year-on-year organic growth.

Prosegur Security continued to expand profitability, with EBITA increasing 12.7% compared with the same period last year to €45 million, supported by the gradual improvement in margins driven by the hybrid security model.

Prosegur Cash

Prosegur Cash reported a net profit of €48 million during the first half of the year, up 1.9% on the same period in the previous year. Revenue reached €1.001 billion, representing a slight decline of 0.4%, primarily reflecting the residual impact of foreign exchange headwinds across the group's operating markets.

EBITA for the first six months of 2026 reached €111 million, with a margin of 11.1%. Transformation products continued to perform strongly, with revenue increasing 4.7% to €358 million, accounting for 36% of total revenue. The company also reduced its total net debt by €53 million, from €882 million to €829 million, compared with the same period last year, lowering its leverage ratio to 2.3x. Operating cash flow generation increased by 15%, supported by disciplined working capital management.

Prosegur Alarms

During the first six months of the year, Prosegur Alarms increased its revenue by 12% to €133 million, underpinned by organic growth of 19%. The company reached a total of 1,046,000 customers, including both Prosegur Alarms and Movistar Prosegur Alarmas (MPA). This performance represents a 3.9% increase in connections compared with the same period last year.

In terms of profitability, the service margin stood at 47% for Prosegur Alarms and increased from 57% to 64% for Movistar Prosegur Alarmas. MPA continued to deliver strong profitability improvement, with its service margin improving by 16.5%.

Recent highlights

During the first half of 2026, Prosegur continued to advance its strategy for growth, transformation, and innovation. As part of its 50th anniversary, the company presented its new 2026–2029 Strategic Plan to its international management team, with a focus on accelerating investment in technology, R&D and business transformation.

Internationally, Prosegur further strengthened its position in the Asia-Pacific region, reaching 22,719 employees, and broadened its value proposition in Argentina and other Latin American markets through the creation of Prosegur Insurance Broker, a new business unit that will integrate insurance solutions with the company's security services.

The company also received several recognitions related to its corporate reputation and talent management. Prosegur was once again included in Forbes' annual ranking of Spain's 100 Best Companies to Work For, was recognised by Merco as the private security company with the strongest reputation in Spain, and received the Best Company for All Talent 2026 award for its policies promoting the integration, development, and inclusion of its employees.
