Beijing, 2 April 2018.- Prosegur, one of the largest multinationals in the private security sector, will be participating in the Conference on Security Challenges in Latin America for Chinese Companies. The event, which takes place at the InterContinental Beijing Sanlitun hotel, brings together a total of 30 Chinese companies and institutions to discuss the complexity of challenges that the region entails. In recent years, Latin America has acquired relevance as a business hub for Chinese companies, with investments of more than 100 billion U.S. dollars since 2010.
Prosegur is aware of this new setting and is no stranger to providing a trusted partnership in the field. With a renowned activity in Latin America, it has an extensive knowledge of this market. According to Conference on Security Challenges in Latin America for Chinese Companies’ program schedule, Prosegur’s local management will be participating in the sessions. More than 10 speakers, including representatives from prominent Chinese companies -among them the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, ICBC-, will discuss how to guarantee the security of the growing presence of expats in the region, how to address specific security challenges in certain countries or how to use technology solutions combined with manned guarding in specific sectors such as mining, oil & gas or infrastructures.
