Access Control
Open and block accesses and manage permits from the Web or App.
The shields are compatible with almost all doors, be they metallic or wooden. Be they the main entry of a house or business. The design of the shields, as they have an external handle, allows to integrate with the design of any door.
The batteries in the shields last approximately 40.000 openings. This is 55 times a day during 2 years. When the batteries are low, the Web immediately notifies the users via an SMS, email or alert message in the App.
The Web allows customers to know who has accessed which door and at what time.
A shield can always be opened from the inside, thus guaranteeing a safe and easy exit for everyone.
The electronic cylinder is compact and easy to install. The perfect solution for any type of door where an electronic shield is not feasible.
The cylinders are so easy to install that the setting in motion of the cylinder and the IQ takes only 15 minutes.
The cylinders have an IP66 protection rating, that means they are dust resistant, rain resistant and resistant to temperatures between -20 °C and +65 °C

The Tag is the smallest member of the Prosegur’s Access Control family but at the same time the safest and most attractive of all. It contains the safest RFID chip in the market, the Tag’s ID cannot be duplicated.
To add Tags just select a door, as from that moment you have 2 minutes to present the tags to that door.
In case of loss of Tag or if Tag is not returned, it can be easily blocked through the Web. The blocking can be made in real time, and if the tag is recovered, it can easily be unblocked.
The Tags will only work in those doors you have so programmed. Furthermore, RFID technology, used in applications and military devices assures maximum security with an AES algorithm .
Extend your Range
The Repeater allows to extend the distance between the IQ and the electronic locks. Increasing the distance between them up to 10 meters. As more Repeaters are added a maximum distance of 40 meters between the IQ and the electronic lock can be obtained.
For extra security when adding a Repeater, once the activation code is entered, Prosegur Access Control sends an SMS with a unique code to make sure it is your account and that your identity has not been substituted.
The Repeater notifies, as the IQ does, through a LED with different colors, a series of notifications and warnings about the device status.
Adds up to 3 Repeaters between the shield and the IQ.
As any other system component, the Repeater is set-up in 3 simple steps. Plug it and it works.
If you decide to extend your installations, and your Shield and IQ do not communicate due to the distance between them, use a Repeater.
The IQ is the core of the Prosegur’s Access Control system. It connects the shields and wireless cylinders to the cloud.
The IQ does not use Wi-Fi, it manages its own connectivity. There, where you have coverage to make a phone call, you can install an IQ. The maximum distance to the lock or electronic cylinder is 10 meters but, if the distance is bigger, Repeaters extend the distance.
If you have a door outside your premises, the IQ is the best way to avoid big investments. Just add an additional IQ to your account and manage that door as totally integrated to your account.
The web offers all the advantages of the current solutions in the cloud. It is not necessary to install any software, it can be seen in any device, it has a safe record and an intuitive design, and it allows to manage doors, users, access permits and alerts from a remote location.
The Web’s control panel interface is simple and provides all the information in real time about your Prosegur’s Access Control system. It allows the easy and instant control from the remote of all the components and it shows the doors status, the last entries, events and alarms, apart from offering the possibility of opening and closing doors from the remote.
Instant control of all access rights. The Web allows your customers to individually determine who can access which door and in what moment. Should you want to modify a right of access, just get into the Web and do the necessary changes, which will be activated instantaneously. It is not necessary to update neither Tags nor Shields.
The Web offers a notification center that allows to personalize notifications. For example, users can choose to receive notifications about who goes where and when. They can also choose to receive notifications in case a door has been left open. Each type of notification can be sent to specific groups of people and via email, SMS and message in the App.
The application available for IOS and Android smart phones allows to manage the system from wherever you are, easily, instantly and intuitively.
In case of loss of Tag or if Tag is not returned, it can be easily blocked through the Application. The blocking is made in real time, and if the tag is recovered, it can easily be unblocked.
You can set the doors in Office mode, what means that the specified doors will be kept unblocked during certain hours. If you leave the premises and you are not sure whether you have set the doors in Office mode, just select the function ‘Delete Office’ in the App to close all doors instantaneously.

If you can’t sign in your account , it may be due to one of the following reasons.
1. If you get this message: "Incorrect email or password. Try again." You have most probably entered a wrong email or password. If you have forgotten your password, you must ask for a new one in the account’s homepage.
2. Sometimes the problem is due to the fact that the “Caps Lock” key has been pressed in the keypad.
3. If you are a Super User you will receive a message of suspended account. In this case, the Owner must enter the system and unblock it in the "Account/User rights" tab. The order of the subscribed users can be reorganized by dragging and dropping their names.
4. If you attempt to log in more than 3 times with the wrong email/password, it will be blocked for 20 minutes. Try again after this interval.
5. Any user can log in and enter after his email has been confirmed. Confirmation is sent via a specific mail.

The Code is a key element in the Prosegur’s Access Control security system. For remote opening, set the doors in office mode and change hardware configuration, it needs confirmation through a Code.
The Code is an encrypted, 5 character code similar to the applications used by online banking.
The encryption is unique and only known and shared between your App and your IQ, so it is not stored in the cloud or elsewhere. Furthermore, as it is your App and your IQ, you are the only person who has total control over any modification in the system.
Below are the steps to generate a Code.
Make sure your IQs are activated (How to activate Code?). The Code is generated when you enter a unique, personal and un-transferable PIN in the App. The App encrypts the PIN in a Code and only the IQ has the right to recalculate it when entering the PIN. A Code is valid only during a period of time, thus increasing security in the codes generation technology.
1. Go to App and select the menu in the left upper corner.
2. Once inside, select the icon that represents an arrow coming out from a box. In the lower part a menu will unfold.
3. Select Generate Code.
4. Enter the PIN for the IQ.
5. It results in a 5 character code called Code
The Owner of Prosegur’s Access Control needs total control and access over any IQ and door, the Super User only over the doors the Owner has given him access.
1. Upon entering the App it notifies about the IQ that has not yet been activated
2. You will find this in the App menu under "IQs not activated".
3. Select the activate and the "OK" buttons, then a PIN will be sent to you via SMS
4. This PIN must be changed. Start by entering the PIN you received via SMS.
5. Upon entering it, you must enter a unique, personal and un-transferable PIN. It is convenient if you have several IQs to use the same PIN so you do not have to remember different PINs.
6. Enter your PIN again.
7. After modifying the PIN your App is ready to generate Codes.
When you want to change the PIN for a specific IQ, go to the App menu and select the icon next to the activated IQ. Select "Change PIN" and enter the PIN used up to the moment followed by the new one twice. The App will confirm the PIN change by activating it immediately.

6. The PIN has been changed
If the User is a Super User he can ask the Owner to reset his PIN. If the Owner does not remember his PIN, he must reset the IQ.
The Owner selects "Accounts/Security/Reset Pin" and selects the User and the IQ for which he wants to reset the PIN.
The Owner selects the IQ using the drop-down menu next to the Super User’s name and selects Reset Pin. The system asks the Owner for the Code for that specific IQ. After entering the Code, the PIN for said Super User’s IQ is reset.
When the Super User enters the App the IQ will appear as not activated. The system will send an SMS with a PIN at random that the Super User will be able to customize upon entering it. If the same PIN is used for multiple IQs, the same must be done for each of the IQs of said Super User. If the Owner has forgotten the PIN, the IQ in question must be reset by pressing the CLR button located in the back of the IQ. This action has 2 consequences:
All Users of the App for said IQ must reactivate the IQ in their Apps as if it was the first time.
The Owner must confirm the System Configuration by going to Account/System Configuration and following the specified instructions.
Below are some of the reasons why the door appears as disconnected.
1. Is your IQ plugged in? If the answer is no, plug it in.
2. Has the environment that surrounds the IQ changed? Adding walls or metallic objects may interfere with the IQ’s RF communication. If so, change the IQ orientation or add a Repeater so as to avoid communication problems.
